The gift-giving ettiquete (okaeshi) has its positive and negative points. Today, we taught our students the value of cleaning the park. Although some students solely focused on bug catching and collecting worms, the idea of cleaning the park where we spend most of our outside activities, is both a positive experience and character building. On a side note, it’s finally Friday! So this physical activity was a great way to relieve stress and move about. As students finish up their “MY PROJECT” presentations, we decided on the next theme to be Japan and each student will make a poster on their prefecture choice. They will be teaching me about Japan and I can’t wait to see which prefecture I’d want to visit next. Thanks for reading – Toshi sensei
