For summer Camp A, we went to Yumoto and the students were given the task of creating a form of advertisement for both IwakiFC and Furutakiya.

First we made the rules for Summer Camp A together and everyone signed it in agreement.

This year, we are allowed the students to bring their own guns to have watergun battles and get soaked.

The first place we visited was Yumoto’s oldest onsen spot: Furutakiya Hot Spring Hotel. The owner and staff graciously hosted our students and gave us a tour of the hotel.

After taking a nice onsen bath, we went to IwakiFC park!

They gave us a tour of both Iwaki Under Armor Dome and the FC park! We took many many pictures, made posters, and presented them in English!

Iwaki is well known for it’s delicious Katsuo and the kids were lucky to see and taste it for themselves.
